William C. “Bill” Cline, age 90, of Belleville, IL, formerly of Cahokia, IL, born on August 31, 1936 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon IL.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Bill worked for over 35 years in Logistics for McDonnell Douglas, now Boeing, in St. Louis, MO. He was an active member of the Lakers Car Club of Southern Illinois.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Jann, nee Trotter, Cline; his son, Timothy Cline; his parents, Lawrence and Mary, nee Rouch, Cline; his sisters, Opal Jackson, Pauline Cline, and Dolores McAllister; and his brother, Lawrence Cline.
He is survived by three sons, Terry Cline of North Port, Florida, Jeffrey Cline of Belleville, IL, and Jody Cline of Wood River, IL; six grandchildren, Zachary, Andrew, Joleigh, Tiffany, Tim and Alex; and his sister-in-law, Vickie Dilworth, of St. Louis, MO.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL. Interment with military honors will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
