Wanona Baker

Wanona Baker, 90, of Jerseyville passed away at 4:00 am on Thurs April 20, 2017 at home.She was born in Madison, IL on Jan 5, 1927 to the late Herman Henry & Florence (Beckman) Miller.She married Clarence William Baker Sr on Feb 14, 1946 in Madison, IL. He passed away in 1987.She worked at the Humpty Dumpty Day Care in Granite CityShe is survived by a daughters & sons n law: Janice & Ronald Lybarger, Debra & Steven Bienkowski of Elkville, sons and daughter in laws Clarence William & Jude Baker Jr of Silver Springs, FL and Scratis “Bud” Baker of Cahokia, 10 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren.She is preceded in death by Sisters: Wilma Hayes, Laura Cartwright and Mary Lawson and a brother, Henry Miller Jr. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Mon April 24, 2017 at Targhetta &Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton where funeral services will be at 10 am on Tues April 25, 2017 at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton   with Rev Mark Scandrett officiating.Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fairview Heights, IL. Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital.
