Vivalene Tucker, 88 formerly of Rockbridge, Illinois, died at 4:15 P.M. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton.
She was born on May 19, 1927 in Wood River, Illinois to the late Stephen M. & Alfha M. (McCorkle) Hufford.
Vivalene married Bobby Tucker on July 6, 1950 in Sedalia, Missouri. He died August 16, 1995.
She worked at Owens-Illinois as a selector.
Vivalene was a member of Cornerstone Church in Alton.
Survivors include 6 daughters; Vickie Keeley & Dennis Green, Ev & Jim Hudgins of Chesterfield, Sherrie Short of Alton, Janet Tucker of Chapin South Carolina, Ellen & Jerry Voight of Kampsville, Faye & Bob Feretti of St. Louis, 1 son; Jesse Tucker of Grandview, Missouri, 16 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 sisters; Nina & Albert Ritchey of Alton, Gloria Hufford of Marshall, MO.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents 2 brothers; Nova & Stephen Hufford
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton
Burial will be at Kane Cemetery
