Virginia L. Spears, 71, of Litchfield, IL, died at her residence on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:16 am.
She was born August 31, 1954, in Litchfield, IL to Clarence Hopper & Edna Settles Hopper. She married Ronald E. Spears in 1977. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2022.
She was retired after having been a cook for Route 66 Cafe, Litchfield, IL. Virginia loved fishing, baking and cooking.
She is survived by her children, Ryan (Tabitha) Hopper of Birch Tree, MO, Ronald Mitchell (Lisa) Spears of Paris, TN, Mary Ellen (companion, Frank) Spears of Millington, TN, Colleen Renee Spears of Byhalia, MS, Sara (Homer) Spears of Litchfield, IL, grandchildren, Jacob, Natasha, Melody, Thomas, Tristan, Bella, Coreina, Abby, Mitchell, Cobe, Austin, Atianna, Junior, Ryland, Jeico, Brinley, 10 great grandchildren, siblings, Paul Hopper of Litchfield, IL, Rose Adams of SC, David Hopper of Litchfield, IL, Ruth Jett of Hillsboro, IL, Lisa Roach of Lake of the Ozarks, MO.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, siblings, Mary Skillman, Art Hopper, Roger Hopper and Mike Hopper. Private family services will be held.
