Virginia "Jenny" N. Hanold, 92, of Brighton, passed away at 11:30 pm on Tues Nov 6, 2018 at Robings Manor NH. She was born on July 27, 1926 in Pennington Gap, VA to Joseph R & Nell (Jasper) Housley.
She married Allen E Hanold in Piasa, IL. Allen passed away on Dec 25, 1987
She is survived by a daughter & son in law: Mandy & Jim Rathgeb of Brighton, and 2 sons & daughters in laws: Stan (Ellen) Hanold of Brighton and Scott (Joy ) Hanold of University City, MO, 8 Grandchildren & 15 Great Grandchildren, brothers and sisters in laws: Bruce & June Hanold of Bethalto and Wayne & Stephie Hanold of Peoria.
She worked for IL Bell as a telephone operator.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 11 brothers & sisters.
Visitation will be noon until 2 pm Sat Nov 10, 2018 at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church in Alton
Funeral Services will be at 2 pm Sat Nov 10, 2018 at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church with Rev Mark Scandrett officiating.
Burial will be in Brighton Cemetery
