Virginia J. Ginsler, 83, went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 11, 2013 at the Nazareth Living Center in Saint Louis, MO.
She was born on November 8, 1930 in Alton, IL, the daughter of Clark and Christine (Wingert) Dodson.
She married Selwyne M. Ginsler in 1972 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1987.
Virginia was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting. She was a member of the Palmasola Presbyterian Church in Bradenton, FL.
She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline (Neal) Leturno of St. Louis, MO; a son, Robert M. Boker of East Alton; two grandchildren, Christopher Boker and Jonathan Boker both of East Alton; two nieces, Pat Weber and her family and Peggy Tavernier and a nephew, Richard Tavernier and his family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Tavernier.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Funeral services will be at 11 am on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Priest officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
