Virginia E. Greff, 63, of Benld, IL, died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 12:53 pm. She was born July 25, 1960, in Saint Louis, MO to Arthur Damouth & Pearl Vincent Pruden. She married Charles J. Greff on June 9, 1979 in Benld, IL.
She was a medical assistant for Staunton Clinic. Virginia enjoyed babysitting her family. She is survived by her spouse, Charles Greff of Benld, IL, children, Anthony Greff of Benld, IL, Alexander (Elizabeth) Greff of Glen Carbon, IL, Ashley (Donny) Slaughter of Benld, IL, grandchild, Charlotte Greff. Virginia was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Damouth, mother, Pearl Pruden, step father, Ralph Pruden, brothers, Gary Damouth and Larry Damouth. Friends may call on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at St. Joseph's Church in Benld from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at St. Joseph's Church in Benld at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, Staunton, IL.
