Virgil Alan Edmiston, Jr., 52, of Jerseyville, died unexpectedly at 9:36 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in the emergency room at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville.Surviving are:Parents:  Virgil and Alice Mae Edmiston Sr. of JerseyvilleSon:  Matthew Edmiston of JerseyvilleGrandson:  Aaron A. EdmistonBrother:  Timothy Edmiston of FidelityVisitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Crawford  Funeral Home in Jerseyville.Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.Burial will be in the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Fidelity.Memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House in St. Louis, Mo.
