Violet “Mammy” Crawford, age 101, passed away at 12:05 pm Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband Burl Crawford. She is survived by five generations including seven daughters.

Memorial service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the 1^st Baptist Church in Jerseyville.

Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton are in charge of arrangements.
