Vicky Diana Schlemmer, 59, passed away at 7:55 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Integrity Healthcare of Godfrey.
Born Oct. 12, 1961 in Alton, she was a daughter of Albert Noal and Juanita (Warner) Manring.
Vicky worked as a medical transcriptionist for Christian Hospital for over 30 years. She was a selfless volunteer at the Oasis Women’s Shelter, the Humane Society, and for the Ozark County, Missouri Democratic Party. She loved playing Bingo, treating herself with visits to a spa, and most importantly, she was passionate about people in general. She attended Bethel Pentecostal Church in Rosewood Heights.
Survivors include her mother, Juanita Manring of Roxana; her daughter, April Marburger of Godfrey; her son, Joshua (Jamie) Schlemmer of Gassville, MO; four grandchildren, Ahnalee, Arabelle, and Astyn Marburger and Nyla Schlemmer; three sisters, Linda Diann (Louis) Maple of Wood River, Karen Sue (Jim) Birr of Florissant, MO, and Toni (Renny) Hagen of Jerseyville; and a brother, Ronald Gillis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Manring; a sister, Terri Griggs; and a brother, Ricky Lee Manring.
The family will hold a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at Bethel Pentecostal Church. Pastor Royce Roy will officiate.
