Vickie Marie Thus, 59, passed away at 3:46 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.
Born June 19, 1955 in Alton, she was a daughter of George Thus and Wilma (Heathman) Patterson.
Vickie was a member of the Wood River Moose Lodge #1049. She also was an animal lover.
She is survived by two brothers, Monte (Linda) Thus of Edwardsville and Mike (Tamra) Thus of St. Charles, Mo.
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 27 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 10 a.m. until memorial services begin at 11 a.m. Pastor Kale Hanson will officiate.
Inurnment will be at a later date at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or 5 A’s (no-kill animal shelter).
