Vicki Elaine Keasling, age 62 of Worden, IL, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Alhambra Rehab & Health Care in Alhambra, IL.
She was born on Thursday, November 7, 1963, in Saint Louis, MO, the daughter of Burnell and Marlene (nee Held) Fischer.
On Saturday, December 15, 1984, she married George Darren Keasling in Granite City, who survives.
Vicki graduated from Oakville High School in St. Louis, MO. After marriage she moved to Granite City and lived in that area for eleven years before moving to Worden, IL. Vicki was a remarkably talented, warm-hearted woman who poured her soul into everything she created and everyone she loved. Her life was defined by her deep devotion to her family and her vibrant artistic spirit for drawing. Her passion for baking cakes within her own business gave her such joy.
Vicki is survived by her by husband, George Darren Keasling of Worden, IL; sons, Jacob (fiancée-Ashley Hudson) Keasling of Troy, IL, and Dwayne (Heather Turner) Keasling of Staunton, IL; grandchildren - Autumn Keasling, Klyde Keasling, Zoey Keasling and many step grandchildren; brother Dennis (Donna) Fischer of High Ridge, MO; step brother - Ron (Stephanie) Parker of St. Louis, MO; brother-in-law , Lee (Julie) Smith of England and sister-in-law, Tracy (Rick) Zorichak, CA.
She was preceded in death by her father, Burnell L. Fischer; mother, Marlene A. Fischer Parker (nee Held); father-in-law, George L. Keasling and step father, Halbert Parker.
Arrangements are being handled Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra, IL.
A Celebration of Life will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at American Legion in Worden, IL.
