Vickey Naylor

Vickey L. Naylor, 70, passed away at 9:17 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 6, 1954, in Alton, the daughter of the late Morris and Shirley (Rucker) Naylor. 

Survivors include two sisters and brothers in law: Kathy and Wayne Draper of Grafton, Barb and Rick Rhoades of Alton, two brothers: Jerry Naylor of Bethalto, Michael Monroe of Brighton, three half – sisters, one half – brother, her nieces and nephews: Paula, Paul, Chrissy, Michelle, Patrick, Missy, Doug, Aaron, Marissa, Christopher, Stacy, Nikki, Tayler, Matthew, many great nieces, great nephews, and other extended family and friends. 

Vickey was employed as a security guard at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton for over 20 years prior to her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in death by a sister: Donna Lane. 

In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the funeral home. Rev. Tim Naylor will officiate. Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton.
