Verna Stafford-McCarrin

Verna A. (Hawkins) Stafford-McCarrin, 66,  former longtime resident of St. Louis, MO, died at 12:00 p.m., Sunday June 25, 2017 at Willow Rose Rehab and Health Center in Jerseyville. Verna passionately loved God, her children, Greg, Travis and Lauran and her grandchildren, Collin, Dilynn, Brooklyn, Lillian, Grace and Avery and her entire family consisting of her mother, siblings and other relatives, the American Flag, the Cardinals and Butterflies. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, crafting, gardening, was a lover of music and a voracious reader. She was a passionate political activist, St. Louis Cardinals fan and grandmother and spent many years working as an Administrative Assistant.Per her wishes, there will be no funeral services conducted. Memorials may be given to Cardinals Care. Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville is in charge of arrangements.
