Venita (Nilene) Strader, 81, passed at 2:15 a.m. at her daughter’s house in Wood River, Illinois on Sunday July 9, 2017. She was born in Springfield, MO to Abbiegail (Beckerdite) Sypolt Bilbruck and Ellis Sypolt. She Married Bobby Dewayne Strader November 18, 1951 in St. Louis, Mo. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Abundant Life Church in Godfrey Illinois. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by a daughter, Bobetta Strader of Wood River, and two sons Steven Strader and Christian Strader (Great Grandson) of Godfrey, and Keith and Laurie Strader of Brighton, daughter-in-law Denise Strader Overland park, KS. Her grandchildren Nikkie Jones, Ben Jones, Bobby and Johnna Strader, Abbie Strader, Chase and Amanda Strader, Dori and Andrew Hoth, Jeremy Strader, Chance Strader, and Hannah Strader, six great grandchildren and a one sister and brother-in-law Frances and Donald Nelson of Wood River, IL. She was preceded in death her husband Bobby son, Patrick and mother and father, Abbie and James Bilbruck, and many sisters and one brother and aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 12, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton, IL where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017. Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey, IL.
