Vanessa Gail Heuer, 67 of Maryville, IL passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.
She was born to the late Richard and Effie (Isbell) Bays on September 11, 1956 in St. Louis, MO. Vanessa enjoyed line dancing and quilting. She was the “fun” person at any gathering and always put other people before herself.
Vanessa is survived by a daughter: Kristy Heuer (Mark Koenig); 2 sons: Keith (Cassandra) Ishum, Timothy Heuer; 5 grandchildren: Cody Heuer, Austin Cox, Dalton Cox, Erica Cox, Claire Ishum; a great grandchild: Paisley Heuer; a daughter in law: Suzanne Heuer;2 brothers: Richard (Shilrey) Bays, Mickey Bays; 2 sisters: Jacqueline Schaffer, Roxann White; and her long term partner: Don Bardelmeier.
Besides her parents; Vanessa is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Harold Phabey and Boyd Cox.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Vanessa at a later date.
