Truman Maurice Hunter, 98, of Jerseyville, died peacefully at 9:40 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017 in the emergency room at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville.Surviving are:Son:   Bobby Hunter of JerseyvilleDaughter:   Vicki Gross of Jerseyvillle4 Grandchildren   5 Great Grandchildren   1  Great Great GrandsonBrother:   Charles Hunter of BrightonSisters:   Nola Kramer of Jerseyville                Mary Ruth Thomas of JerseyvilleVisitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Jerseyville.Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, with the Jerseyville American Legion Post 492 conducting military graveside rites.Memorials may be given to the Color Guard of the Jerseyville American Legion Post 492 or to the First United Methodist Church in Jerseyville.
