Trinity Waelterman

Trinity Waelterman, age 17 of Greenville and formerly of Granite City, passed away at home Friday, April 24, 2026, surrounded by her family after a brave battle with cancer.

Trinity was diagnosed with a rare cancer, Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer that affects the entire body. Trinity was undergoing a 46-week chemotherapy regimen.

The family is having a visitation for Trinity Monday, May 11, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home, 203 West Oak Street, Greenville, Illinois.  Thanks to the generosity of people in the metro east, the family is getting to have a service for Trinity and celebrating her life. 

She is the daughter of Terry Lee Waelterman and Ashley Elizabeth Moore. Trinity was born in Greenville on October 15, 2008. The family moved to Granite City, Illinois where she attended school and was about ready for her senior year in high school. In June of 2025 the family moved back to Greenville.
