Treva Jetton Malson, 82 of South Roxana, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2023 at Alton Memorial Rehab and Therapy.
Treva was born July 16, 1941 in Carroll County, AR. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Edna M. (Bailey) Gifford.
She married William “Big Bill” Malson on March 14, 1964 in Wood River. He passed away March 3, 1997.
Treva was a homemaker and the mother of three children.
Survivors include two daughters, Tracy Malson of South Roxana, Stacy and George Stewart of South Roxana; one son, Jason and Meggan Malson of Alton; five grandchildren, Kloe’ Mae, Jason, Autumn, Dominick, Bryan; one brother, Don G. Gifford of MO.
A life celebration for Treva will begin at 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2023 at Gray Funeral Home in Wood River.
Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Stephen Gray officiating.
Burial is at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has named The Kidney Foundation as a memorial.
