Tracy A. Hard, 46, of East Alton, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021, at 12:30 pm, at Alton Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
Tracy was born on October 9, 1974, in Jerseyville, IL, the daughter of Earl C. and Beverly A. (Kuehnel) Ziegler of East Alton. She married Michael S. Hard on September 12, 2015 at the Church of Nazarene in Roxana.
She worked at American Water in the billing department for 19 years. Tracy loved to try new things. She enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with her family and friends, especially her children.
Along with her parents, Earl and Beverly, and husband Michael, she is survived by her children, Mikayla Hard of East Alton, Sebastian Hard of East Alton, and Cody Nance of Tennessee; a sister, Chrissie Gibson of East Alton; a brother, Nathan (Amy) Ziegler of East Alton, two grandchildren, Braden Nance and Jerrick Nance; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tammy (Nick) Williams, Lisa Scaturro, Adam (Heather) Hard, and Jeff Hard; father-in-law, Steve Hard; mother-in-law, Nancy Marczak; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tracy was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jeff Gibson.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2021, at 11 am. Ed Ingram will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wood River, IL.
Memorials can be made to an education fund for her children in care of Michael Hard.
