Traci Cook

Traci L. Cook, 48, passed away at 11:10 pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at her home with her family by her side.She was born on May 10, 1968, in Alton, IL, the daughter of John “Bob” Cook and Penny (Spann) Payne.  She is survived by her mother and step father, “Penny” and Larry Payne of Moro; three children and their spouses, Josh Howard of Cottage Hills, Jeremy and Tasha Howard of Wood River, Nicole Howard of Wood River; two grandchildren Peyton and Aubrey; her significant other John Booher; one sister Christi Cook Whitaker of Bethalto; four step siblings, Beth Payne Roe and husband John, Laurie Maxin Moore and husband Jim, Sheri Maxin Nantkes and husband Greg, and Patrick Maxin.   Traci was preceded in death by her father.Cremation rites have been accorded.Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2016, from 4:30 to 6 pm with at memorial service beginning at 6 pm, at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, with Larry Payne officiating.Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or BJC Hospice in Alton.Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto is in charge of arrangementsOnline condolences and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com.
