Tina Hyman

Tina M. Hyman, 51, passed away at 6:47 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis

She was born on December 4, 1965, in Alton, the daughter of Jack and Shirley (Briggs) Hyman.Tina was an advocate for Autism awareness. She wrote a poetry book “Dandelion Child” and had been attending First Assembly of God Church in Jerseyville.Survivors include her parents, of Bethalto; three children, Jonathon Crain, Christopher Crain, Andrew Crain, all of Kane, Illinois; her former husband, Frank (Spirit Bear) Crain; eight siblings and their spouses, Bill and Rhonda Bean of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Linda and Gary Kudelka of Moro, Debbie and Billy Yates of Grafton, Lisa and Mark Johns of Wood River, Mike and Joyce Hyman of Wood River, Ernie and Tammy Hyman of Bethalto, Carol and Ronnie Alesandrini of Cottage Hills, Jane and Rick Taviner of Hardin; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.She was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Bean.Visitation will be from 10 am until time of service at 12 pm on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Larry Hayes officiating.Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.Memorials may be given to Autism Speaks.Online condolences can be given at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com.
