Timothy "Timmy" J. Fowler, 64, passed away at 5:40 am on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, Illinois.
He was born on April 6, 1961 in Alton, Illinois to T. J. and Hilda (Kaiser) Fowler-Thomas, one of ten children.
Timmy’s childlike innocence endeared him to anyone he met. Loved ones described him as having "never committed a sin." His quiet, gentle demeanor will be deeply missed by all those who were lucky enough to know him.
Timmy is survived by his mother, Hilda Fowler-Thomas; seven siblings, Terry (Peggy) Fowler of Elsah, Betsey (Duane) Hannekamp of Godfrey, Judy (John) Harlan of Godfrey, Thomas (Tammy) Fowler of Wood River, Amy (Jeff) Schneider of Forestell, Missouri, Tina (Kevin) Zumbaum of Godfrey, and Ted (Brenda) Fowler of Godfrey; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, T.J. Fowler, his sister, Toni (Glenn) Carter, and an infant sister, Jerrilou Fowler.
Visitation will be held at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 10am until time of service at 11am.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
