Timothy Evans

Timothy Jay Evans, 61, died at 3:29 p.m. Thursday, November 28, 2024, at his home in Alton and was welcomed home by his parents, Clint and Lois Evans. He went to sleep and walked with Jesus. Born June 12, 1963, in Alton, he was the son of Clint and Lois (Jones) Evans. Timothy attended and graduated from College for Life at Lewis and Clark Community College where students and staff took such good care of him and enriched his life. Timothy was a transplant donor with Mid America Transplant. 

He loved the Incredible Hulk, and his favorite songs were “Because He Lives” and “Happy Trails.” Timothy was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Alton. Surviving are his siblings, Kathy Abert (Alan) of Alton, Tollie Evans (Deb) of Roodhouse, and Larry Evans (Pam) of Glen Carbon, nieces, Rebecca Abert of Alton and Amy Smith (Rudy) of Glen Carbon, nephews, Jared and Alex Evans of Roodhouse, Ben Moyer of Glen Carbon, Joshua, Zachary and Samuel Evans all of Glen Carbon, and great nephews, Payton Evans of Roodhouse, Gunner, Porter and Bennett Smith all of Glen.
