Timothy Dearing

Timothy “Darin” Dearing, 49, of Alton, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 24, 2018, peacefully at home, in his sleep.He was born on January 4, 1969, in Granite City, IL, the only son of Ben Dearing and Janice (McKinzie) Watkins. He married Mikki Rae (Nowell) Kutter on November 11, 2011 at Glazebrook Park in Godfrey, IL, she survives.Darin was an industrial electrician and a master maintenance technician with many years of college studies. He was a proud recipient of The Cambridge Who’s Who Award. Darin had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and The Brotherhood that took him under their wing. Darin had a love for The Lord and will always be remembered for his humorous one-liners  and unconditional love for others.Along with his wife he is survived by his parents, Ben (Maryann) Dearing of East Alton and Janice (Harold) Watkins of Cottage Hills; his mother and father-in-law, Rhonda Keeney and Thomas R. (Karen) Nowell; two children, Tyler (Cybrina) Dearing of California and Brianna Dearing of Bethalto; two bonus children, Curt Kutter of Alton and Kelsey Kutter of Alton; and two step-brothers, Jason Watkins of California and Ritchie (Micki) Watkins of Bethalto.Visitation will be from on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Pastors Sharon and  Brian Archer will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodland Hills Cemetery in East Alton.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses, or to Mikki Dearing for a trust fund for Brianna Dearing.Online condolences and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
