Thomas 'Turtle' 'Papa T' Ray Mitcherson, 61, of Granite City, IL passed away Thurs. May 2, 2019 in Granite City.
He was born Mar. 30, 1958 to the late Elvin & Sadie (Outland) Mitcherson.
Thomas was a U.S. Army veteran and had been a carpenter with Local #633. He loved riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by a daughter: Jessica (Jeff Ridenour) Mitcherson; s son: Jamie (Jamie) Mitcherson all of Granite City; 9 grandchildren: Tyler Mitcherson, Jonas Barnes, Tessa Keeton, Ethan Mitcherson, Dax Mitcherson, Tyler Nicol, Branden Nicol, Kayla Ridenour and Kile Ridenour; and his former wife: Cynthia Nault of Granite City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Marilynn Mitcherson; and a sister: Glenda Coleman.
