Thomas Witt

Thomas Lynn Witt, 60, died January 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born on October 4, 1957 in Jerseyville to Neil E. Witt and Orpha L. (Wedding) Witt. He was one of 10 children. Tom lived in Jerseyville his entire life, working various jobs including barge lines, roofing and carpentry. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Whittni N. Witt.

Survivors include his sons; JT and Collie Witt of Jerseyville, his three grandchildren; Brayden, Whittni and Wrylie; Tom’s long time companion Judy Mozier of Jerseyville; his siblings; Gary (Carol) Witt of Carrollton, Donna (Lindell) Giles of Delhi, Rodney (Margie) Witt of Jerseyville, Jan Witt of Jerseyville, Mike (Dawn) Witt of Otterville, Frank (Suzette) of Hardin, Lisa (Larry) Savvas of Texas, Zoe Witt of Carrollton, and Jim (Denise) of Dow.

Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Alexander Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Memorial Service will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Alexander Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville.

Private family interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
