Thomas Le Roy Fleming, 88, died peacefully in his Godfrey home on August 7th. His wife of 65 years, Mildred Anne (Dilback) Fleming, survives, as do their three children: Susanne Hansberry of O'Fallon (IL.), Thomas L. (Jr.) of Fieldon and Jeanne Fleming of Alton. Thomas is also survived by two grandchildren, Ashley N. Fleming-Sikorski and Matthew Hansberry, both in the St. Louis area. Thomas was born in Edwardsville and was the last of his five siblings.
Thomas worked for 15 years at Laclede Steel in Alton before completing electronics correspondence courses and later owning his own TV repair shop, ARTSCO TV, in Alton.
The cremation rites and a close-family memorial for this funny, loving man is planned at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf funeral home in Godfrey on Monday, August 12th.
