Thomas Hubert

Thomas Dale Hubert, 78, of Benld, IL, died at his residence on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 10:14 pm. 

He was born October 16, 1943, in Carlinville, IL to Charles G. Hubert & Sue (Suchko) Hubert.  He married Dona  (Sandretto) Hubert on February 11, 1967, in Gillespie, IL.  He was a retired insulator for Shell Oil.  He was a graduate of Benld High School Class of 1961.  He was a former member of the Benld Fire Department and Litchfield Moose.  He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Gillespie, IL where he also served on several committees.  Thomas was an avid golfer. 

He is survived by his spouse, Dona Hubert of Benld, IL, son, Brian (Amanda) Hubert of Springfield, IL, grandchildren, Audrey, Benjamin, Caleb, brothers, Chuck Hubert of Canada, Jerry (Carol) Hubert of Florida. 

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Nancy Hubert, and niece, Denise Merle. 

Friends may call on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at United Methodist Church of Gillespie from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.  Memorial services will be on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at United Methodist Church of Gillespie at 6:00 pm.  Memorials are suggested to United Methodist Church of Gillespie, Gillespie - Benld Area Ambulance Service, or Benld Public Library.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.  Kravanya Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
