Thomas Brendan Mullen 76, of Alton, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 10:31 a.m. at his residence.
He was born January 14, 1942 at St. Joseph?s Hospital in Alton.
Thomas retired in 2007 for the Boeing Company. Thomas was a member of St. Ambrose Church in Godfrey. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and neighbors, golfing and taking long walks with his cat, Kitty.
He is survived by his sister, Sheila Mullen of Alton, brother, Michael K. (Connie) Mullen of Salem, IL., and sister in law, Barbara Mullen of Godfrey; 9 nieces and nephews; 17 grand nieces and nephews and 6 great grand nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother John B. Mullen and sister in law Ruth Mullen.
Visitation will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Steven Janoski and Father Godfrey Mullen concelebrating.
Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic School, Marquette Catholic High School or to masses.
