Thomas Albert Scott passed away at 9:04 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2016 at Christian Hospital Northeast.
Born Oct. 9, 1953 in Alton, he was a son of Joseph and Mary (Masulla) Scott.
He remarried Dianna Kay Bush in 1996 in East Alton. She preceded him in death June 11, 2013.
Tom was a floor tech for Astro Building Services until his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the East Alton American Legion Post #794 and a member of their Ritual Team, the Madison County Police Association, and a former member of the Wood River Moose Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Kristy Scott of East Alton; a stepdaughter Amy Markle of East Alton; a stepson, Jason Wayne (Jodi) Bush of Alton; 4 grandchildren, Tamara, Tyler, Rory, and Anthony III and a granddaughter on the way; a great grandson on the way; and several cousins and other extended family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 19 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 10 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.
