Theodore Fraser

Theodore F. Fraser, 82 passed away at 12:33 am Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at his home. He was born on October 28, 1933 in Wood River, the son of Harry and Leona (Davis) Fraser. 

He married Marlene Yindrak on June 14, 1958 at the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Alton.  She survives

Theodore was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for Olin Corporation as a machinist for 42 years until retiring in 1998. He enjoyed wood working, deer hunting and trout fishing in Montauk State Park in Missouri.In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Annette Fraser of Moro, Bryan Fraser of Alton, Cheryl White and her husband Tom of Medora, and Damon Fraser of Prairietown; six grandchildren, Justin Keidel, Keely Zimmerman, Megan Maguire, Lindsey Keidel, Zachary White, and Stephanie Ruyle and husband Robbie; seven great grandchildren; and one brother Edward Fraser of New London, MO.He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Dick, Darrell and Bug Fraser; and one sister, Betty.Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm, Friday June 3, 2016 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.  Funeral services will be at 10 am at the funeral home on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto..  Memorials may be made to 5A’s or the American Cancer Society.
