Terry Marshall

Terry M. Marshall, age 76 of Greenville, Illinois and formerly of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, at HSHS Holy Family surrounded by his family.

Terry, the son of John VanBuren and Lemah (Hatch) Marshall, was born September 18, 1948, in Carryville, Arkansas. He graduated from Senath High School.

Terry answered our country’s call by serving in the United States Navy. Enlisting on November 27, 1968, making rank on November 01, 1970, and honorably discharged on November 26, 1974.

Terry and Vita Marlene Carman were united in marriage on March 1, 1972, in Belleville, Illinois. They had 52 years of marriage. They are the parents of Amanda (Keith) Ford of Hillsboro, Illinois and Jared Marshall of Greenville.

Terry was from a large family and leaves behind his sister Lavadna (Tom) Hines of Collinsville, IL, sister-in-law Margaret Marshall of Auburn, AL, sister Magdaline (Jim) Miller of Elm Grove, WI, brother Eddie Lloyd Marshall of Batesville, AR, and brother Hal (Charlotte) Marshall of Collinsville, IL.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Buren, and sister Mavis.
