Terry Alan Green, 60, died at 6:45 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2017 with his family by his side in. Born May 12, 1956 in Alton, he was the son of Russell and Anna (Karg) Green. Mr. Green retired in January of 2016 as a chemist for Phillips 66 Refinery after 38 years of service. Surviving are two daughters, Alayne Waters (Ethan) of Alton and Melody Schulze (Alan) of Alton, six grandchildren, Gregory Green, Audrey and Alyssa Waters, Elijah, Abram and Eleanor Schulze, six brothers and sisters, Karen Howser of Jefferson City, MO, Harry Green (Mary K.) of Brighton, Russell Green Jr. (Ruth) of Cheyenne, WY, Jeri Hausman (Mark) of Alton, Gregory Green (Kelly) of Shawnee, KS and Gordon Green (Donna) of Monroe Center, IL. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home where funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017. Pastor Randy Fischer will officiate.
