Teresa Tucker

Teresa Tucker, 84, of Benld, Illinois, passed at Hallmark Healthcare of Carlinville, Illinois on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 10:45 am. She was born March 10, 1942, in Monessen, PA to Louis and Delilah (Fundy) Stipoli.

She spent her life as an advocate for fighting abuse and neglect for all animals, both as the director of humane shelters and as vet tech for several veterinary practices. She was a champion in the community as an alderperson, fighting for the betterment of all.

Teresa married Robert Tucker in 2001. She was a loving and sincere companion.  

Teresa is survived by her husband, Robert Tucker, brother and sister in law, John and Elaine Steeple, sister, Louise McAllister, and son, Edward Sadler.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral services are Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld. Burial will be at Benld Cemetery, Benld, Illinois.
