Terence Christian Treichel, 34, died early Thursday morning in the home of Jack Hemninger.
He was born on Sept. 26, 1975 in Las Vegas, NV the son of David L. Treichel of Manitowoc, WI and Bonnie Ann (Pruett) Mundy of Alton. He is also survived by his step-father John Mundy.
He went to San Clemente High School in California and Clark High in Las Vegas before returning to Alton. Terence loved making small model cars together with his son. He was an excellent an excellent artist and loved playing his guitar and working on his 85 Monte Carlo. Terence had been working for Mike Forrester Heating and cooling for several years.
He is survived by the mother of his children, his long-time partner, Shonna Stanton, four children, Brianna Stanton of Roxana, Christian Treichel, twins, Gabrial & Aryann Treichel, all of Alton, step children, Brian Stanton and Megan Stanton of Wood River; and a grandson, Braden Nance; four brothers, John Vinyard and his wife Cathy of Belleville, Darin Vinyard of Bowling Green, MO, Richard Treichel of Oshkosh, WI and Brad Carter of Albany, OR, Uncles and Aunts, Tom and Pat Pruett of Springfield, IL, Richard & Roseanne Pruett of Rosewood Heights, Kevin & Gaye Pruett of Rosewood Heights, and Alan & Denise Pruett of Pawnee.
Visitation will be from 9 am until time of funeral services at 10 am Tuesday June 29, 2010 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton.
Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.
