Taylor Pile

Taylor Nykole Pile, 21, passed away at 1:36 am Wednesday August 24, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur, MO.She was born on September 27, 1994, in Alton, the daughter of Jeff & Tami (Lexow) Pile.Taylor was the Salutatorian at Roxana High School. She made the Dean’s List at UMSL every year and was a member of the National Honor Society and Silver Medallion Award Recipient.  She loved to travel, loved life and especially her family and friends.She was a senior in college at the University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL) and loved to go to college, for the nursing program, knowing her life’s work would be to help others.  She has continued to help others by donating her organs, which have saved three lives.Taylor is survived by her parents, Jeff & Tami Pile of East Alton; one brother, Talon Pile of East Alton; her boyfriend, Brent Crenshaw of Worden, her grandparents, Don and Shirley Lexow of Bethalto and Dan & Patty Pile of East Alton; several aunts and uncles, Mike & Peggy Lexow, Donna Ahlmeyer, Diane & Chuck Patterson, and Steve Pile; and too many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to mention.Taylor was the most kind, genuine, beautiful soul we have ever met.  She was the best daughter and sister anyone could ever have and we will love her and miss her every single day for the rest of our lives.  Her memory will live on in our hearts forever.In celebration of her life, private services will be held at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Fr.
