Tavena Lynn Hagedorn, 50, died at 10:17 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born April 24, 1973 in Alton, she was the daughter of Ronald “Ron” and Venita C. (Tavernier) Young of Godfrey. She married Eric J. Hagedorn on September 27, 2014 in Brighton, IL. He Survives. Tavena worked as a medical secretary for Alton Multi Specialist. She enjoyed traveling, country music concerts, playing bingo and motorcycle riding. A Celebration of Life service will be held from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Alton Wood River Sportsmen’s Club, 3109 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, IL. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements. Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com.
