Tammy Renee Sparrowks, 54, of Bethalto, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 3:48 am, at her home.
She was born on October 5, 1964 in Alton, the daughter of Ron Autery and Ruth (Schoeneweis) Autery-Griffin. She married Gary E. Sparrowks on June 27, 1998, at Lake of the Ozarks.
Tammy was a hair dresser in the Bethalto area for many years. She loved spending time with her family, friends and pets. She enjoyed being poolside in the summer while always helping people in need and continuing to practice her faith.
Along with her husband, she is survived by three children and their spouses, Bryan and Lindsay Watters of Belleville, Nathan Sparrowks of Bethalto, and Rose and Adam Kuethe of Bethalto; brother, Tracy Autery of East Alton; and sister, Stacey (Mark) Perryman of Rhode Island; five grandchildren, Paige Sparrowks, Lauren Sparrowks, Christian Kuethe, Emily Kuethe, and Adilynn Kuethe.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 1 pm until time of service at 3 pm on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, where Pastor Charles West will officiate.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
