Tammy J. (Davies) Furlow, 47, passed away at 3:20 am on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was born on February 24, 1968 in Alton, the daughter of James W. and Bettyjane (Durham) Davies.
She was formally married to Darrell Furlow.
Tammy worked in the IRA department at US Bank for 14 years. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace church in Bethalto. She was an organizer for “Huzzah Float Trip for the Deaf.” She loved to spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her father, James W. Davies Jr. of Godfrey; four children, Taylor Furlow of Godfrey, Maddison Furlow, Avery Furlow and Preston Furlow, all of Alton; one brother, Rick Davies of Godfrey; one sister, Kathy (Johnny) Jones of Godfrey; nieces and nephews, Jason and Melissa Davies, Matt and Jen Davies, Dawn and Mike Dustman and Rachel Davies.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 am on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an Education Fund for her children.
