Tamara J. Tannahill, 62, of Bethalto, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
She was born on November 17, 1961, in Alton, IL, the daughter of John F. and the late Sylvia L. (Coleman) Yates.
Tamara enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Along with her father, John and his significant other Betty Dale of Godfrey, she is survived by seven children, Kindra Ruehl of Bethalto, Lisa Tannahill of East Alton, Vanessa (Tony Cobillas) Tannahill of Pocahontas, Joe Tannahill of Pocahontas, Dakota (Michael) Spurgeon of Bethalto, Jessica Silkwood of Illinois, and Jason Yates of Bethalto; a brother, Danny Yates of St. Genevieve, MO; six grandchildren, Jabraia, Antonio, Juliana, Remmington, Josslyn, and Waylon; and her former husband, Joseph Tannahill.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, from 9:30 am until time of service at 11 am. Pastor Terry McKinizie will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials are suggested to the family to help with final expenses.
