Talmage Hillman

On December 16, 2020 complications of covid stole the lifeforce that was Talmage 'Tal' Dwain Hillman and he joined his ancestors for the ultimate family reunion.  Born January 25, 1945 to Wilma (Fisk) and Howard Hillman he married the love of his life, Phillis Buckner on April 2, 1966.  Tal worked at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center and it was there he found his passion working with the developmentally disabled.   He touched many lives including residents and staff members and has been missed since retiring in 2013.  Always the life of the party Tal loved all sports, but especially 'his' Cardinals.  An avid golfer, he also loved music, theater, traveling and his dance moves will be forever remembered.  Along with his wife, he is survived by three children, Kim, Chris (Lori) and Tina Schmidt, six grandchildren, Keith, Zack, Devin, Eric, Ashley, Megan and one great granddaughter, Isabella.  His is also survived by brother, Lyle and sister Nedra (Ted) Moran as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and nephews, H. Scott Hillman and Michael Moran.  Per Tals' request there will be no service. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  Tal had one final message for the World' Wear your Masks, the life you save may not be your own.  Additional information and online guest book may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
