Susan E. Hildebrand, 59, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015 at St. Louis University Hospital. Born December 1, 1956 in Alton, she was the daughter of Marvin Meyer of Alton and the late Mary (Weihe) Meyer. Mrs. Hildebrand was a homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Godfrey. She married John Hildebrand on March 22, 1980 in Godfrey. He survives. Along with her father and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Keli Sue Spinks (John II) of Godfrey, and Katlyn Hildebrand of Godfrey, two grandchildren, Regan and Savannah Spinks, and a brother, David Meyer (Mardi) of Alton. She was preceded in death by her mother. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 7, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church in Godfrey. Reverend Daniel Speckhard will officiate. Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
