Susan Ann Booten, 62, passed away at 11:32 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born Jan. 29, 1948 in Alton, she was the daughter of Milton Lee and Maxine (Doyle) Westbrook.
She worked as a customer service representative at Wal-Mart in Jerseyville.
On July 5, 1986, she married Everett J. Booten in Godfrey. He survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Melisa and Ted Booten of Bunker Hill; a son, Emil "Chad" Bertels, currently serving in the U.S. Air Force; a stepdaughter and her husband, Karen and Kevin Barnes of South Roxana; a step son, Mike Booten of East Alton; two grandchildren, Jessica Sue and Brittany Ann Booten; three step grandchildren, Kevin and Kolette Barnes and Cody Booten; a step great grandson, David Turner III; and three brothers, Milton Lee Westbrook, Jr. of Alton, Harry James "Jim" Westbrook of Godfrey, and Ronald Eugene Westbrook of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Dean Westbrook.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where Rev. Dan Smith will officiate services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Interment will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
