Sue Dennert

Sue Ann Dennert (nee Perschbacher), 69, of O’Fallon, IL, born on September 6, 1956, in Belleville, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025, in O’Fallon, IL.

Sue was a lifelong resident of southern Illinois, and she enjoyed shopping and going out to eat. She was always on the lookout for a new store to peruse or a new restaurant to try. Sue was especially excited to go shopping for Black Friday deals—that is when she would do her shopping in preparation for her favorite holiday, Christmas. Sue’s family and friends were very near and dear to her heart.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Lois Perschbacher (nee Brown); her brother, Philip Perschbacher; and her husband, Ray Dennert.

Left to cherish Sue’s memory is her daughter, Erica (Johnny) Duncan, Jr. of Pocahontas, IL; her grandchildren, Zachary Dennert, Calab Dennert, and Sadie Dennert, all of O’Fallon, IL; her sister-in-law, Genine Perschbacher of Fairview Heights, IL; her best friend, Marie Dancel of Phoenix, AZ; as well as many other good friends.
