Stevie Joe Taylor, 61, of Granite City, IL passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2024, at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL.
He was born to the late Albert and Ola May (Bridges) Taylor on September 30, 1962 in St. Louis, MO. Stevie owned his own siding business and like his bother Red, referred to himself as an “Eccentric Collector” of many things.
He is survived by 2 sons: Michael Piper, Stevie Joe Piper; a brother: Jimmy (Pyllea) Taylor of Staunton, IL; 2 sisters: Josie (Ricky) Leonard of Jonesboro, AR and Linda Hill of Granite City, IL.
Besides his parents, Stevie is preceded in death by a son: Robert A. Taylor and 2 brothers: Larry “Red” Taylor and William “Blimp” Taylor.
