Steven W. Flack, 43, was pronounced dead at 8 p.m. September 3 in the emergency room at Anderson Hospital.
Born in Kankakee on May 30, 1974, he was the son of the late William G. and Gloria (Allen) Flack.
He had been an independent landscaper. He enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the American Pool Players Association (APA).
On October 22, 2016, he married Leah Hanley. She survives.
Surviving also are a daughter, Brianna Flack of Bethalto; step-son, Anthony Perkinton of Springfield; sister, Denise (Brad) Thibault of Edwardsville; uncle Bruce (Laura) Flack of Wood River; aunt, Barbara (Staley) Hall of Glen Carbon; nieces, Ava and Emma Thibault; several cousins including, Deena and Steve Sedlack, Greg and Karen Hall.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, September 11 at Bethalto Church of God, 800 E. Bethalto Dr, Bethalto, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Pastor Shea Hughes will officiate.
Burial will follow in Glen Carbon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life Edwardsville City Team.
