Steven Cummings

Steven L. Cummings, 54, of Wood River, passed away at 5:37 P.M. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at his home.

He was born on February 18, 1964 in Alton, IL. to the late Loyd & Mary Ann (Roberts) Cummings.

Steven worked as a caregiver for the Department of Rehabilitation Services.  He was also known in the area for his driftwood art carvings.

Survivors include 4 sisters; Janet (Mike) Harvey of Hartford, Deb (Doug) Eyers of Brighton, Karen Cummings of Hamel, Cheryl (Bill) Brock of Carrollton, numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother; Michael L. Cummings.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church in Alton, with a Memorial Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.  The Rev. Mark Scandrett will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 5A's Animal Shelter.
