Steven D. Bell, 67, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 10:41 p.m., at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born on July 27, 1950 in Red Bud, Illinois and was the son of the late Warren and Helen (nee: Miller) Bell.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a yard clerk at Southern Pacific Transportation Co.
He is survived by one sister Kathryn (Kenneth) Garrott of Godfrey, IL; one brother Keith (Pamela) Bell of Benld, IL; one nephew Benjamin Bell of Benld, IL; and three nieces Kayla (Matthew) Kuehn of Godfrey, IL, Krysta (Joshua) Kuehn of Godfrey, IL, and Kara (Dylan) Garrott of Brighton, IL.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral in Godfrey
3:00 p.m. until time of services at 5:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to a memorial fund that will be established at a later date by the family.
