Steven Allen Spencer, 60, passed away 9:52 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Alton on March 10, 1957, he was the son of the late Gene Frank Spencer and Lois Jean (Haubs) Spencer of Godfrey..
Surviving are his mother; daughter, Sara (Sheldon) Davidson of Belleville; two grandchildren, Hannah Spencer, Jaelynn Surratt; two great grandchildren, Tommy and Olivia; two sisters, Debbi (John) Lara of Alton, Vikki Whitten of Godfrey; niece, Karri Ann (Kurt) Varvaris; and his beloved cats, "Lucy" and "Ethel".
His parents and a nephew, Armando Lara preceded in death.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Memorials may be made to the family for expenses.
